What are the adverse effects that prostitution has? How prevalent is sex trafficking? Are you affected? The answers will surprise you!
Prostitution is a form of sexual exploitation that falls within the scope of human trafficking. According to the latest UN reports, it is a severe problem in our society, which enslaves millions of people (more than 30 million prostitutes worldwide ).
All these people live in extreme poverty and are prey to pimping networks. Others are also forced into prostitution by slavery due to armed conflict, religion, or tradition.
We aim to strengthen the associative world by providing information, university research expertise in various fields as legal, social, economic, and more. In addition to the work produced by our great team and our partners, we focus on highlighting already existing initiatives, best practices, and tools that work on combating sex trafficking. Our goal is not to reinvent the wheel but to shed light on the great efforts that work on preventing sexual exploitation in several areas and learn from their experiences, harness a collective power and collaborations to reach more people.
Accessibility and connectivity are vital for success! We work on engaging both for more efficient work on human trafficking and sexual exploitation.
CRISE International carries out studies on various subjects related to sexual exploitation connected with human trafficking and offers partnerships and training around sexual exploitation prevention.
We also provide our members with an online documentation center, news monitoring on the different forms of human trafficking, and community and research tools to facilitate their associative and event-based exchanges and online group work.
