Sexual Exploitation and the Legal Framework of Prostitution

Prostitution and sex work laws differ from a country to another around the world. It is completely illegal in most countries. Legal individual prostitution is also common, but organized prostitution (pimping) is not common. 

The sex trade is fully legal in countries like Germany and Greece where sex work is legalized and regulated. In several other countries across Europe, it is illegal to buy sex, but not illegal to sell it.
